I was born and raised in Seattle, Washington and received my BFA in Graphic Design from the University of Washington in 1992. After relocating to San Francisco in 1999, I continued my studies and training in painting at the California College of the Arts. I also was mentored by Merl Ross, professor of art at CCA, as well as noted Bay Area painter, Nicholas Wilton. I have been a Mill Valley resident since 2001 and work from my studio in the historic ICB Building in Sausalito.
